‘Sword Art Online’ Union Arena Starter decks are now available

Sword Art Online has joined the roster of anime series included in Union Arena, with its starter deck now available and booster packs heading to stores next month.

Union Arena is a common rules trading card game that lets players use characters from different series but only use a single set of rules. Union Arena is the ultimate anime fan experience as you pit characters like BLEACH’s Ichigo against Hunter x Hunter’s Gon to see how they match up.

Sword Art Online starter decks are available now, with booster packs becoming available on May 2, 2025. The cards will include characters from the series’ Aincrad Arc. The starter deck includes a constructed deck of 50 cards and 3 Action Point cards. The Action Point Cards in random decks will all be a “shiny alternate design ver.”
