The anime adaptation of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes will premiere next month, showing fans a new side of My Hero Academia‘s world of quirks, heroes, and villains.
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is set before the events of the main My Hero Academia story and follows Koichi, a young man acting as a hero to help others despite his lack of a hero license. A chance encounter with a vigilante pulls Koichi deeper into the role of an unofficial hero. The series was created by My Hero Academia creator Kōhei Horikoshi, written by Hideyuki Furuhashi, illustrated by Betten Court, and published by Shueisha.
The anime adaptation is directed by Kenichi Suzuki and written by Yōsuke Kuroda. Its music is by Yuki Hayashi, Shogo Yamashiro, and Yuki Furuhashi. Bones Film is animating the series.
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes will premiere on April 7th.
