Terminator 2’s T-1000 (lovingly known as the Liquid Terminator) will join the Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns roster next month on the 18th. Fans can preview his relentless abilities in a new official teaser trailer.

Mortal Kombat 1 is the latest entry in the long-running franchise and serves as both a reboot and a sequel to Mortal Kombat 11, taking place in a new timeline created after 11’s final expansion. The game now has Liu Kang playing the role of a god gathering forces to participate in the latest Mortal Kombat tournament. Khaos Reign is Mortal Kombat 1’s first expansion and has the team facing off against the titan Havik.

The T-1000 is the main antagonist of the 1991 sci-fi action movie Terminator 2: Judgement Day. It was initially played by Robert Patrick. The T-1000 is a terminator made of mimetic poly-alloy (or liquid metal) that can transform into other forms and people.

The T-1000 joins the Mortal Kombat roster as Khaos Reigns’ latest addition, following Conan the Barbarian, Cyrax, Scream‘s Ghostface, Noob Saibot, and Sektor. The previous character DLC pack was Kombat Pack 1. It included Ermac, The Boys’ Homelander, Invincible’s Omni-Man, DC Comics’ Peacemaker, Quan Chi, and Takeda as DLC characters.

The T-1000 will be available on March 18th. Mortal Kombat 1 is available now for the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
