The Behemoth, the team behind Castle Crashers developer, has revealed in a new video details about the upcoming Painter Boss Paradise DLC, the game’s first new DLC in 12 years, including its release window, price, and mayhem that awaits.
The Painter Boss Paradise DLC includes a new character, new player and weapon artwork for all previous characters, and Steam workshop integration for the PC version.
Castle Crasher is a side-scrolling beat ’em up developed and published by The Behemoth in 2008. The game is set in a magical and madcap fantasy world where players take the role of four knights, tasked by the king to rescue a group of princesses and retrieve a magic crystal take by an evil wizard. The game was well received and would get new characters and weapons added over time as DLC.
It’s time to head back!
The Castle Crashers Painter Boss Paradise DLC will be available on Steam this summer. You can wishlist it now. No news yet on if/when it will be available on consoles.
Castle Crashers is available on PC, the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PS4.
