Last week’s DAN DA DAN episode was an emotional rollercoaster, mixing intense action with a character deep dive that fans are still discussing. This week’s episode has Okarun, Momo, and Aira dealing with new complicated feelings and relationships stemming from their intense battle with Acrobatic Silky.
DAN DA DAN Episode 8: “I’ve Got This Funny Feeling”

“The battle against Acrobatic Silky is over, and the three go back to normal school life. Aira starts to harbor romantic feelings stemming from how Okarun saved her. As Momo, Okarun, and Aira’s feelings intertwine, the Serpoians show up again, trapping the three in a void.”
DAN DA DAN is a manga series written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. The series is about two classmates who believe in separate portions of the supernatural/paranormal world, both finding out things are a lot more complicated than they originally thought, unlocking hidden powers and new abilities while pursuing the truth.
The anime adaptation has been immensely well received, becoming extremely popular thanks to its tone, frantic mad-cap style, amazing music, and intense action. The anime is directed by Fuga Yamashiro, written by Hiroshi Seko, with music by Kensuke Ushio, and animation production by Science Saru. The opening theme is “Otonoke” performed by Creepy Nuts, with the ending theme “Taidada” performed by Zutomayo. The Japanese cast includes Shion Wakayama, Natsuki Hanae, Nana Mizuki, Mayumi Tanaka, Ayane Sakura, and Kaito Ishikawa. The English voice cast stars Abby Trott, A.J. Beckles, Kari Wahlgreen, Lisa Reimold, Aleks Le, Barbara Goodson, and Ben Diskin.
The eighth episode continues the amazing story of DAN DA DAN, making it clear that things are going to get a lot more complicated for Okarun.

DAN DA DAN is available to stream on Crunchyroll and Netflix, with new episodes premiering every Thursday on both platforms.
