Episode 4 of DAN DA DAN is here, and it has Momo and Okarun’s plan to show Turbo Granny what they are made of using the ultimate skill test: a game of tag. That is, an unexpected spirit gets involved.

DAN DA DAN Episode 4 – “Kicking Turbo Granny’s Ass”

“To settle the score with Turbo Granny, Momo and Okarun show up at the tunnel as they promised. They start the game of tag to pull the location-bound spirit away, and even manage to capture Turbo Granny using Momo’s psychic powers. However, a giant crab-shaped location-bound spirit quickly approaches them, trying to take Turbo Granny back. A magnificent game of tag between the pair and the spirit plays out…”

DAN DA DAN is a manga series written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. The series is about two classmates who believe in separate portions of the supernatural/paranormal world, both finding out things are a lot more complicated than they originally thought, unlocking hidden powers and new abilities while pursuing the truth.

The anime adaptation has been immensely well received, becoming extremely popular thanks to its tone, frantic mad-cap style, amazing music, and captivating action. The anime is directed by Fuga Yamashiro, written by Hiroshi Seko, with music by Kensuke Ushio, and animation production by Science Saru. The opening theme is “Otonoke” performed by Creepy Nuts, with the ending theme “Taidada” performed by Zutomayo. The Japanese cast includes Shion Wakayama, Natsuki Hanae, Nana Mizuki, Mayumi Tanaka, Ayane Sakura, and Kaito Ishikawa. The English voice cast stars Abby Trott, A.J. Beckles, Kari Wahlgreen, Lisa Reimold, Aleks Le, Barbara Goodson, and Ben Diskin.

DAN DA DAN is available to stream on Crunchyroll and Netflix, with new episodes premiering every Thursday on both platforms.
