‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’ has gotten a magic-filled official trailer

The Russo family returns next month in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, a sequel series to the Disney Channel supernatural Wizards of Waverly Place. Ahead of its premiere, the new show has gotten a magical new trailer giving a peek at the story ahead!

“‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’ premieres October 29 on Disney Channel and next day on Disney+. The series follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo. When Justin’s sister Alex brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities — and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World.”

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is the sequel series to the original Wizards of Waverly Place. It has David Henrie reprising his role as Justin Russo, and Selena Gomez guesting staring as her character, Alex Russo, in the pilot episode, as well as serving as the executive producer for the series. The full series cast includes Mimi Gianopulos, Alkaio Thiele, Max Matenko, Janice LeAnn Brown, and Taylor Cora.

The Wizards of Waverly Place was a Disney Channel original comedy that focused on the Russo Family, the three children being wizards who have to one day compete to see who gets to keep their powers since only one wizard is allowed in each family. The series ran for four seasons and is credited with helping to further launch the career of Selena Gomez.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place will premiere on October 29 on the Disney Channel and the next day on Disney+ (where you can watch the original series, its specials, and movie).
