Bandai Namco understood the assignment at this year’s Anime NYC, with the popular brand bringing stunning new figures, cute & cool Gashapon, amazing kitchenware, and a captivating new card game to the heart of NYC! Here is a spotlight on the experiences that made Bandai’s booths a can’t-miss at Anime NYC 2024!
An amazing selection of Gashapon collectibles!

Gashapon is Bandai’s capsule toy brand. Available through vending machines, fans take the chance and turn the dial, and are guaranteed to get an adorable and cool collectible (though maybe not always their favorite character. We discovered that a part of the fun was trading with other people there. Wherever you are Ichiban Kasuga cosplayer who traded me Sanji for Chopper, I want to let you know that you’re my hero~

On offer at Anime NYC 2024 were One Piece, Gundam, Demon Slayer, Tamagochi, and more! Bandai Namco brought a spectacular selection of Gashapon, with most attendees going again and again!

Us too… We kept going too. We got a mini gunpla kit from one!

Gashapon machines can be found at numerous locations including Bookoffs and malls. You can find the nearest batch of machines near you by heading to the official site.
Show your spirit with Robot Spirits!
Spotlighted were Robot Spirits and Metal Robot Spirit figures! Metal Robot Spirits are figure kits where the pieces are made of die-cast materials that give a real sense of weight and sturdiness to the figures. It feels like you are making a real mech–that happens to be the right size to fit in your house.

Super Charged Dragon Ball Figures and Figuarts!
Dragon Ball fans HAD to go to the Bandai booth to see the latest selection of figures available. Fan favorite characters and iconic moments were all on show!
Get your team ready for Union Arena!
Also on display and available to play was Union Arena, a common rules trading card game that lets players use characters from different series, but using only a single set of rules. Union Arena is the ultimate anime fan experience as you pit characters like Bleach’s Ichigo against Hunter x Hunter’s Gon to see how they match up.
The North American version will include Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Hunter X Hunter, Jujutsu Kaisen, One-Punch Man, Code Gease, and Demon Slayer!
Q-Socket cuties!

For those who are drawn more to the cutesie side of of collectibles, there was a great range of Q posket figures, Bandai’s line of adorable semi-chibi figures showing iconic characters with heartwarming eyes and features.

Sailor Moon characters as Q poskets are a match made in the stars and is sure to make the Sailor Scout fan in your life very happy!

KAIJU No. 8 is ready to look you in the eye!!
The big draw this year was KAIJU NO. 8, with Bandai not only offering amazing figures based on characters from the series but also a highly detailed Kaiju no. 8 statue, made to resemble one of the S.H.Figuarts figures with points of articulation modeled onto it.
