It’s nearly here! The long-anticipated Rick and Morty spinoff, Rick And Morty: The Anime, will premiere on August 15th, and it looks like it will tell a madcap comedy story sure to make series fans happy.
Rick and Morty: The Anime is an anime spinoff of Rick and Morty created and directed by Takashi Sano and produced by Studio Deen, Sola Entertainment, and Telecom Animation Film for Adult Swim. Based on the Adult Swim series of the same name, the anime version will continue the adventures of mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his teenage Morty Smith. Rick and Morty anime originally aired as five shorts from 2020-2021. The new series will be a full ten episodes.
Rick and Morty: The Anime Premieres 8/15 @ midnight, the next day on Max. The English language version dub episode premieres Thursday 8/15 @ midnight, while the Japanese language version sub episode premieres Saturday 8/17 @ midnight.
