Oshi no Ko is a manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. The series follows a doctor reborn as the child of his favorite idol, he decides to enter the acting/idol industry to solve a murder that has shaken his newfound family, all while his new fraternal sister hides a secret of her own. The anime adaptation premiered in 2023. The second season is directed by Daisuke Hiramaki and Ciao Nekotomi, written by Jin Tanaka, with music by Takurō Iga, and animation by Doga Kobo.

Anime Expo is Los Angeles’ premiere anime convention. Highlighting Japanese pop culture by bringing fans and creators together for a lineup of special guests, signings, events, panels, and more, it is LA’s can’t-miss anime event.
