Crunchyroll and Fall Guys launch Bananya collab event

Things are going to get even crazier in Fall Guys, as the much-loved madcap platformer battle royal is teaming up with Crunchyroll for a Bananya collab event.

The crossover brings fun Bananya-themed cosmetics to the store. The collaboration event items added to the game include:

• Bananya costume – “For players that want to embody the star of Bananya, the white kitty who lives in a banana, this is the costume for you!”
• Droopy Eared Bananya costume – “For those who want something a little fluffier and a little more pink, the Droopy Eared Bananya costume is sure to do the trick.”
• Happy Bananya Emote – “Ever want to express your joy like a Bananya who just found a sweet treat? Now you can with this emote!”
• Bananya wins, Nya Celebration – “Did your charming bunch win every round? Now, you and your buddies can celebrate together in true Bananya fashion.”

Fall Guys is a free-to-play platform battle royal developed by Mediatonic and published by Epic Games. In it, up to 32 players compete in a series of obstacle courses and minigames meant to eliminate players, with the best one coming out on top. The game has sported lots of great crossovers including Star Wars, Street Fighter, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more.

Bananya is an original anime series written and directed by Kyō Yatate and produced by anime studio Gathering. It is about a newly discovered species of tiny cats who live in bananas and their wacky daily lives.

Bananya X Fall Guys collaboration event will run May 24-30, worldwide outside of China, with all the goodies available to use after the event ends. Fall Guys is available to download for free on the Nintendo Switch, Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
