Street Fighter 6’s new Giant Battle event wants players to work together to take down the Raging Demon

Akuma has joined the Street Fighter 6 roster, and players can earn some new outfit colors for the popular character thanks to a new limited-time event being held in the game’s Battle Hub.

The “Take Down the Giant Akuma” event will be held in the Battle Hub from May 22-31. Players will fight SiRN Akuma on the in-game arcade cabinets, earning points to fire Hadokens with players at a Giant Akuma in the center of the hub.

Street Fighter 6 is the latest entry in the long running fighting game franchise. Filled with a plethora of new features including its impressive World Tour mode, players can create their own characters, and create custom fighting sets using moves from iconic characters in the series.

Akuma is now available for Street Fighter 6 as a DLC character and is the last one included in the game’s Year 1 Character Pass.

Street Fighter 6 is available for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X/S.
