A New Timed Edition Godzilla x Kong Poster is being released

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is a smash hit, continuing the shared story between the two titan-sized monsters! Mondo is teaming up with artist and illustrator Jonathan Wayshak to release a timed edition poster for the film.

Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire is the sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong. Following the events of the previous film, it follows Kong as he meets other members of his species, teaming up with Godzilla to take on a powerful force driving them. The movie was directed by Adam Wingard, and stars Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (Timed Edition) Poster was created by artist and illustrator Jonathan Wayshak and is a 3-color screenprint on Neenah Antique Gray.

“I purposely approached the piece with very imprecise tools like worn out brushes and a lot of smearing with my fingers. I wanted the piece to feel extremely rough, like a 3rd or 4th generation photocopy, but at the same time I wanted areas of sensitivity and refinement. I walked that line, and I got to where I wanted it to go.”

Pre-orders are open now for the poster, and it is expected to ship in September 2024.
