Following the announcement that Rooster Teeth is shutting down, it has raised the question of what will happen to its numerous original programming and content. One popular series that fans wanted to know the future of was Death Battle. Well, the official Death Battle YouTube channel has released a video with several members of the production staff promising that while they can’t give the exact details yet, more of the series is on the way.

Death Battle is a web series where fictional characters are pitted against each other. Starting with a researched look into character abilities and history, followed by an animated fight sequence using the data to decide the outcome. The series has become a fun example of that classic fun of nerd arguments about who would win in a fight.

The future of Rooster Teeth series including Death Battle, RWBY, Camp Camp, and more, was initially left in the air after Rooster Teeth’s closure was announced.

It seems fans of Death Battle need not worry, as more is on the way in some form left to be announced. Stay tuned to the Death Battle YouTube Channel for the latest updates.
