Get ready, heroes! The fourth My Hero Academia film, My Hero Academia: You’re Next, will premiere in Japanese theaters this August. Ahead of its premiere, it has gotten a new trailer teasing devastating enemies and the mysterious Dark Might.
My Hero Academia was created by mangaka Kōhei Horikoshi. It tells the story of Izuku Midorya, a boy born without special powers but still dreams of being a hero. The series has become immensely popular and went on to get an anime adaption, several manga spin-offs, and anime films.
My Hero Academia The Movie: You’re Next director Tensai Okamura, script by Yosuke Kuroda, with character designs by Yoshihiko Umakoshi, music composition by Yuki Hayashi, Kenji Nagasaki as animation advisor, and animation by Bones.
My Hero Academia The Movie: You’re Next premieres in Japan on August 2, 2024. No word yet on an international release.
