Bizarre and over-the-top rom-com hijinks await: The 2022 anime adaptation of Urusei Yatsura is heading to Blu-ray next month!

Urusei Yatsura is a sci-fi romantic-comedy series, which originally began as a manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi (who also created iconic series Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha). The series follows a high schooler who is challenged by alien invaders to a special game for the fate of the entire world. His victory comes with a sudden secondary prize, as he is now engaged to an alien princess! The series had a previous anime adaptation in 1981.

Urusei Yatsura Collection includes all 23 episodes of the 2022 series with English, English SDH, and Japanese with English subtitle options. Special features include Textless versions of the opening and ending animations, Japanese promo videos, and special episodes previews.

Urusei Yatsura (Seasons 1 & 2) Collection will be released on March 19th. You can pre-order it now from Sentai Filmworks.
