Times have been real good for Persona fans. Persona 5 Tactica was released last month, and the highly anticipated Persona 3 Reloaded has a February release date, the long-running series is still going strong. A new commercial spotlights the recent releases and teases at the future one!
The commercial stars Haruna Kawaguchi and Jun Shison, the official ambassadors for the Persona series, and shows the pair dealing with the difficulties that form from “anxiety and loneliness” before finding each other, a strong theme throughout the Persona franchise.
Persona began as a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei series. While the early series entry would focus on young people dealing with demonic and otherworldly forces, the series would later establish a focus on the persona (a manifestation of a person’s psyche), and the addition of social relationship gameplay.
Persona 5 Tactica is available now for the Nintendo Switch, Steam, PS4, PS5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S (where it is included in Game Pass). Persona 3 Reload will be available on February 2, 2024, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PCs. You can pre-order it or add it to your Steam wishlist now.
