HIDIVE is bringing a special ‘The Eminence in Shadow’ season 2 panel to Anime NYC 2023

HIDIVE is bringing a special panel for the second season of The Eminence in Shadow to Anime NYC 2023, featuring series producer Kazufumi Kikushima and director Kazuya Nakanishi!

The Eminence in Shadow is a dark fantasy isekai series, based on a light novel series of the same written by Daisuke Aizawa and illustrated by Tōzai. It follows a high schooler named Cid who is reincarnated as part of a noble family in a magical world after being hit by a truck (what we call the “Isekai Hello”). In his new life, Cid is brought into a conflict between two organizations, despite his desire to be nothing more than NPC.

The anime adaptation premiered in 2022, with its first season directed by Kazuya Nakanishi, written by Kanichi Katou, with music by Kenichiro Suehiro, and animation by Nexus.

Anime NYC Powered by Crunchyroll is a celebration of Japanese culture held in Midtown Manhattan. The event sees fans journey to Jacob Javits, interacting with hundreds of anime industry members, exhibitors, and artists.
