Dead Boy Detectives, a supernatural mystery comic series by the iconic Neil Gaiman, is getting a live-action adaptation, and fans are getting a sneak peek with a new teaser trailer showing plenty of otherworldly adventures!

Dead Boy Detectives is a comic series created by Neil Gaiman & Matt Wagner. Follow two ghost children who, rather than embrace their fate and enter the afterlife, remain on Earth, solving supernatural mysteries and helping people while avoiding Death. The duo first appeared in Sandman before getting their series.

Netflix’s Dead Boy Detectives will be set in the world of Netflix’s Sandman adaptation. It is being developed by Steve Yockey and stars George Rexstrew, Jayden Revri, and Kassius Nelson.

The Netflix adaptation isn’t the first on-screen depiction of the Dead Boy Detectives, with Sebastian Croft and Ty Tennant portraying Rowland and Paine in Max’s (formally known as HBO Max) Doom Patrol.

Dead Boy Detectives is premiering “soon” on Netflix. Stay tuned for a proper release date.
