The Digimon Card Game’s teases mysterious new project and upcoming BLAST ACE booster pack

The Digimon Card Game is teasing a mysterious New Project is coming soon, with a trailer filled with cryptic messages and peek at a new Digimon with its name redacted.

The Digimon Card Game lets players partner up with their favorite Digimon, digivolving them throughout the battle and supporting them with tamer cards and special option cards. Build the ultimate team and Digivolve your way to victory.

Not much has been revealed about the new project. The trailer gives a peek at a mysterious new Digimon with the accompanying tagline: “What’s Important is still the same, even if its shape has changed,” and “2024 REDACTED DECIDED.” Whether this means fans will learn more in 2024 or if that will be when the new project will released is a mystery. Some excited fans are expressing hopes that it is a way to play the game online, while others speculate that it could be a major overhaul and focused fine-tuning of the game.

Also heading to the game is a new booster pack set called BLAST ACE! Adding the original Digidestined and new Ultimate ACE cards including an ACE card illustrated exclusively for the English version of the game), cards based on Digimon Seekers characters, new Digimon: Loogamon, and new keyword Mind Link.

Seems like 2024 is building up to be an exciting time for the Digimon Card Game, meaning players should stay tuned. In the meantime, BLAST ACE booster packs will be available starting November 17th, 2023. Check your local game stores/hobby shops or head to the official site to get yours.
