Higurashi When They Cry Hou+, the remaster of the original Higurashi When They Cry visual novels, is getting an English language release next month, bringing with it a chance to re-experience the horror-mystery series!

Higurashi When They Cry is a murder mystery visual novel series created by 07th Expansion. Set in June 1983 in the small village of Hinamizawa, the initial series follows teenager Keiichi Maebara as he is pulled into a series of mysterious disappearances and murders. The series would go on to get critical acclaim and a passionate fanbase. It includes with several anime adaptations, OVAs, novels, manga, and live-action films.
