Cassette Beasts is a unique indie-RPG with remixing as the theme, with players collecting and combine monsters. A great concept with a fun style, the game’s amazing music was a huge part of its appeal. Fans can now get a behind-the-scene look at what went into its songs & sounds in a new video featuring Cassette Beasts composer Joel Baylis, as a part of Steam’s digital Save and Sound Event.

Cassette Beasts is an open-world monster-collecting indie RPG developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury. Themed around cassette tapes and the 80s, players will travel across the island of New Wirral, using their cassette player to record the monsters they encounter to transform into them.
Is a monster’s abilities not enough to take down an enemy? Combine any of the monsters into even more powerful beasts!
