Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Walpurgisnacht Rising- has gotten its first full trailer, giving fans their first peak at the highly anticipated anime film.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica follows middle schooler Madoka Kaname and her friends as they get the powers of magical girls, they quickly learn of the constant danger, loss, and suffering that comes with their new abilities. The series was created by Magica Quartet and animated by Shaft. It would receive several manga adaptions, a light novel, video games, a spin-off, and films.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Walpurgisnacht: Rising is a direct sequel to Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion and is the fourth film overall. It is directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, written by Gen Urobuchi, with music by Yuki Kajiura, and animation by Shaft.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Walpurgisnacht: Rising will be released in Q1 2024.
