The history of gaming continues to grow with new releases, milestones, and technology every year. Well, one madman has taken it upon himself to spotlight what he thinks is the best video game released every year since its conception.

Video Game of the Year is written by video game journalist Jordan Minor and features a foreword by Dan Ryckert. A year-by-year guide to what Minor considers the best and most unique game releases for every year since 1977; it features contributions from industry legends, including Jason Schreier, Max Scoville, Rebekah Valentine, Blessing Adeoye Jr., and Devindra Hardawar.
