Developed by the dedicated fans over at Team Kanohi, BIONICLE: Masks of Power is a fan-developed open-world action/adventure game set in the world of LEGO’s BIONICLE and built in Unreal Engine 5.
The Island of Mata Nui’s six element-themed regions built in Unreal Engine 5!
Control one of the six legendary Toa heroes as they journey across the Island of Mata Nui to retrieve the powerful Kanohi masks of power, retelling the story of the original Bionicles.
BIONICLE is a line of constructible figures and toys launched by LEGO in 2001. The line focused on a group of elemental biomechanical heroes trying to protect their various people. The series had themes of myth, legends, destiny, and the smallest member of a community having the capacity to be a hero. The story of BIONICLE would be told through not just the sets but also The story of BIONICLE would be told beyond the figures through movies, books, comics, games, and online through the official site. BIONICLE sets were discontinued in 2010, revived in 2015 before discontinued once more in 2016, and as of 2023, is getting a sorta mini rival from Lego.
You can play as Toa Lewa in the Free the Band demo coming early 2024. The full release date for BIONCLE: Masks of Power has yet to be announced at the time of writing, but the game will be available for PC via Steam. You can add it to your Steam wishlist now.
