Volume 1 Of Post-Apocalyptic Manga “Heart Gear” Heads To Shelves This August

Volume one popular manga series Heart Gear is being released next month (August 2023), showing a tale of a robot trying to find what it means to be alive in a post-apocalyptic world.

“After Roue accidentally activates Chrome without a base program—what is essentially a robot’s soul—she and Uncle Zett invite him into their makeshift family and encourage him to choose his own purpose. But when an insane machine attacks their home, will Chrome survive, much less find his purpose?”

Heart Gear was written and illustrated by Tsuyoshi Takaki and is a science fiction post apocalyptic series following the adventures of the young girl Roue and Chrome, her new robot companion. The series was amazingly well received though it has been a hiatus since December 2022.
