Prequel Series “Lupin Zero” Is Getting A Blu-ray Release This September

Lupin Zero is an exciting new prequel series letting fans experience the exciting first adventure of the iconic gentleman thief and his long-time partner-in-crime: Jigen! Later this year, fans cano add the series to their collection with the release of the LUPIN ZERO Complete Collection on Blu-ray!

“The exploding megalopolis of 1968 Tokyo is a wonderland filled with constant innovations, tempting opportunities, and beautiful girls! Unfortunately for young Arsene Lupin (the Third), his father, Arsene Lupin II, insists that young Lupin stay on the right side of the law and avoid those temptations… even though Lupin III’s Granddad, Arsene Lupin I, the world’s greatest thief, has stuffed young Lupin’s head with the tricks of his nefarious trade! Then Lupin III encounters similarly trouble-prone schoolmate Daisuke Jigen, and when bad boy meets bad boy, what do you think they’re going to do? Lupin Zero showed Lupin’s childhood in “A nostalgic yet new original story inspired by the “Shonen Lupine” edition that is also drawn in the original.” It follows a young Lupin on a dangerous adventure in the 1960s. Lupin Zero ran for six episodes and was directed by Daisuke Sakō, with music by Yoshihide Ōtomo, and animation by TMS Entertainment.

Lupin Zero Complete Collection includes all six episodes of the series, textless versions of the opening and closing animation, and Japanese promo videos.
