They say that music brings people together. The same is true for an amnesiac driver and serial killer clown built like a tank when they hear Sisqó’s Thong Song–as shown in the latest trailer for the Twisted Metal live-action series.
Twisted Metal is a live-action series based on the vehicular combat game series of the same name. It stars Anthony Mackie as John Doe, a talkative milkman with amnesia tasked with delivering a mysterious package and crossing a ravaged world. Alongside Mackie, Twisted Metal will also include Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, Samoa Joe, Richard Cabral, Richard Cabral, and Will Arnett as the voice of Sweet Tooth.
Twisted Metal is classic video game series that originally debuted in 1995. A car combat game, players take control of a bloodthirsty cast of characters as they compete for the ultimate prize: A wish for anything their heart desires.
The game series includes 10 entries across the PlayStation family of consoles, with its most recent release being Twisted Metal (2012). Fans have hope that the new series will mark the return of the series with new games.
