Upcoming Comedic Anime Series ‘Thermae Romae Novae’ Has Revealed Its Opening Theme!

Time-Traveling comedy anime series Thermae Romae Novae has had its opening theme revealed by Netflix, and it looks like the series is sure to charm comedy and history fans!

Thermae Romae Novae is based on the manga series Thermae Romae by Mari Yamazaki. It tells the story of an ancient Roman architect who, after having difficulty thinking of new design ideas, finds a secret tunnel that transports him to modern-day Japan. He ends up trying to incorporate things he sees from the modern world into his latest designs, resulting in all kinds of wacky events. The series was first adapted into an anime in 2012 before getting a live-action film adaption.

The 2022 series is directed by Tetsuya Tatamitani, written by Yūichirō Momose, with animation by NAZ.

Thermae Romae Novae premieres on Netflix on March 28th.
