“Elfen Lied Complete Collection” Heads To Blu-ray Next Month

Classic anime series Elfen Lied is heading to Blu-ray next month thanks to ADV Films and Sentai Filmworks!

Elfen Lied began as a manga series written and illustrated by Lynn Okamoto. A dark fantasy/horror series, it follows Lucy, a mutant girl who has repeatedly suffered at the hands of humans, she ends up on a blood filled journey of revenge, love, and redemption. Elfen Lied has gained praise for its actions and themes of abuse, revenge, isolation, prejudice, and identity. It’s anime adaption began in 2004 and was animated by anime studio Arms and Studio Guts.

The Elfen lied Complete Collection will have all 13 episodes of the anime series uncensored, the In Passing Showers ~ Or “Just How Did the Young Girl Arrive at Those Feelings?” OVA, and textless versions of the opening and closing animations.
