Japanese shōjo series Tokyo Mew Mew is set to give fans news on the new project to come from the classic franchise!

A new countdown site has come up, along with news that further information will be revealed in an upcoming issue of Nakayoshi Magazine. Nakayoshi is the original home of the Tokyo Mew Mew manga and its sequel series, both created by writer Reiko Yoshida and manga artist Mia Ikumi.
The Tokyo Mew Mew anime started roughly 20 years ago in April of 2002. Running for 52 episodes, the series has become a shōjo classic, getting video games, CDs, and eventually a two-volume sequel manga series.

The countdown is set to finish on April 2nd, with the new Nakayoshi available on March 3rd.
