This Metal Cover Of Mister Rogers’ “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” Is Very Friendly

With puppets thrashing about and the appearance of the iconic sweater, it is the perfect homage.

You know we love ourselves a good mashup, but this one did catch us off guard while remaining just way too perfect, as musician Clint Robinson has covered Mr. Rogers “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” in his latest metal video.

“Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” Metal Version by Clint Robinson:

Somehow managing to be the friendliest metal song ever, this cover comes out just in time for the new Mr. Rogers biographical movie, “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” which stars Tom Hanks as Fred Rogers. Between the Sweater, playful sneaker toss, the lightly grayed hair, and the puppets rocking out, it is an amazing tribute to the prolific children entertainer.
