The PlayStation Classic Further Discounted Down To $24.99 At Retail

Its been a tough time for Sony’s PlayStation Classic. A mini version of the original PlayStation preloaded with an assortment of games considered classics, the original retail price for the PlayStation classic was $99.99, but thanks to tech retailer Bestbuy’s latest sale, it is only $24.99 currently.

Following its release and poor reception from some fans, the console that was meant as a love letter to PlayStation games has continued to receive discount after discount. These discounts resulted in the classic, which was only released last December, having its price significantly dropped over the course of only seven months.

While this is only a sale price from Bestbuy, it has been an interesting journey for the PlayStation Classic. Bestbuy sells the console for a regularly for $59.99, but we are left wondering if the console may be receiving another permanent price drop soon.
