Monster Hunter Animated Special In The Works

Monster Hunter World has become a worldwide hit, so its no wonder that Capcom intends to expand that world with a new animated special.

As reported by Variety.com, Monster Hunter: Legends of The Guild is a collaborative effort between Capcom and Pure Imagination Studios. Follow a young new hunter, who has to tackle the major threat of an Elder Dragon who has the hunter’s village in their sight. Currently slated for a 2019 release, it is being written by Ultimate Spider-man’s Joshua Fine.

It seems an exciting tale awaits Monster Hunter fans next year. This will be joining the previous Monster Hunter animated venture, Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On.

Monster Hunter World is currently available for Xbox One and PS4. It will be available on PC August 9th.
