Universal Pictures Wants To Make A New ‘DOOM’ Movie

A new DOOM movie is being developed by Universal Pictures.

The second attempt at a movie based on the iconic game, this follows a fun twitter dialog between one of the first film’s star, Dwayne Johnson and the Official DOOM twitter account.

There is no news on when the film will be released, but it has been reported by Variety that the new DOOM will be produced by Universal 1440 Entertainment who focuses on streaming and direct to DVD releases. The original film was released in 2005 to mostly negative reviews.
