The long standing trio of the Powerpuff Girls are now becoming a quartet, as a announcement on Entertainment Weekly was give shocking many (and upsetting quite a few).

With no word yet on the who exactly the new member will be, their debut will come in the upcoming 5 part movie event airing September 17th, 5:30 est, The Powerpuff Girls: Power Of Four. With the original Powerpuff Girl cartoon series debuting almost 19 years ago, the new 2016 rebut has been quick to add a few quirks to the girls. It is not yet fully clear on how the older fanbase will take the new team number and early rumblings implying she will be permanent as a fixture, we all remember last time…
