Yandere Simulator Developer Releases Warning Video

"If it can happen to me, it can happen to you too"

It was a year ago that streaming service Twitch announced that any users who stream indie game Yandere Simulator will be banned. Much to the annoyance of it’s developer Yandere Dev, no reasons were given and the game remains blocked to this day.

A year later Yandere Dev has released a video containing a analysis of why the game was likely banned, his efforts in understanding why it was banned, a comparison to the games still able to be played on Twitch, and a warning to other indie game devs.

“If it happened to me, it can happen to you too”.

Yandere Simulator is a game in which players attempt to win the affection of a older student by murdering, coercing, and over all just eliminating competitors. It has been featured and played on many prominent channels.
